  • What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are the application of synthetic or real mink lashes to your natural lash.

Eyelash extensions add length, curl, and volume to your natural lashes and can be customized to enhance and draw attention to your eyes. Extensions come in a variety of thicknesses, lengths and colors (although black is most common to give the mascara look).

Do eyelash extensions damage your natural lash?

No. Our professionally trained and certified lash artist knows how to select and apply suitable eyelash extensions based on your length and strength of your natural lash.

Your eyelash extensions should never hurt your eye or cause your natural lash to pre-shed. It is recommended to never pull or tug on your eyelash extensions so as not to damage the natural lash. Your extension will shed with your natural lash cycle.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Extensions lasts up to 1-2 months depending on individual after-care, individual skin type and lifestyle.

We would recommend the following for maximum retention:

    • Do not wash/cleanse your eye area within 12 hours after your new set of extension is completed.

    • Do not use oil based make-up remover/ cleanser for face.

    • Do not rub your eyes (you will get used to this after it becomes habitual).

Due to the natural shedding cycle of our eyelash, we would recommend touch-up within 3 weeks. Touch-up will only be charged at half price of standard pricing if touch-up is done within 3 weeks.

Is the touch up session necessary?

Yes! A touch up session after 5 weeks is necessary as various skin types heal differently and outcome will vary. Certain areas may not pick up the colouration during the first session hence touch-up is required.

During the touch-up, colour, brow thickness and volume may need to be adjusted to suit clients preference. Individuals with oily skin often require a deeper shade during the touch up session as the oils tend to lighten the pigment after the healing process.

Where do the fats go? Are the results permanent?

The procedure involves the use of cold temperature to kill fat cells present under the skin (subcutaneous fat). Since the fat cells are killed, the results are technically permanent. Treated fat cells become waste products and are permanently eliminated in the body via lymphatic system.

Which part(s) of my body can I treat with coolSculpting?

It targets and sculpts stubborn fat in areas that are most resistant to change. It consists of upper, mid, and lower abdomen, flanks (love handles), chin, arms, inner and outer thigh, bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks and knee.

How long does a treatment take?

A typical session takes about 1 hour

What is involved during the session?

A gel membrane will be applied to protect the skin from cold. Applicators used for suctions will be locked onto the pockets of fats drawing them into the suction cups where the fats will be exposed to -10 degrees for 30min after which a 20-30min massage to restore sensation to the skin.

How often can I have Fat Freeze?

Multiple areas can be treated on the same day; however you can only freeze the same area once every 3 months as it takes about 3 months for the treated fat cells to be eliminated.

How soon will the fat go away?

It takes up to 90 days to see the full effect of a single Fat Freeze session, a second session on the same area will be recommended to get further results.

Can I exercise after a Fat Freeze?

You should never exercise directly after a Fat freeze session, wait at least 48hours as the sudden surge in blood flow and lymphatic drainage might reduce the efficacy of the treatment.

What happens to the fat cells?

The body breaks down these cells and waste materials are transported out of the body by the lymphatic system and waste elimination organs.

    Does it hurt?

May feel discomfort for the first few minutes when the suction starts.
